The 2 biggest things for me that make this a minor win for the Canucks are the massive cap space they will have at the deadline and the 1st, which they can do anything with. Chytil I think is in a similar situation Miller was in Tampa. The defenseman sounds great on paper and has some NHL experience already. They got a lot younger, too. The trade had to be made and they were kind of hamstrung by the NTC, but they got a decent deal out of it. The last time they traded a centre, they ended up with Hronek at the end of the day and other pieces. All things considered, I'm not going to complain about that. Now it's up to EP40 to show that he can get back to 100 point pace without distractions or bullying. Brad Richardson apparently in his cup of coffee with the Canucks the last few years actually took Miller aside and told him to stop bullying Petey because if he didn't, he'd lose him and that's exactly what happened. All players are different. You have to be flexible enough to realize not everyone is like you. Miller couldn't do that and he screwed up both of their games. Pettersson may be immature, but let's hope this situation makes him a better player. They need him to get back to where he was.

Miller became a head case and a griefer so i guess we sell low. I traded him in nhl25 to Pittsburgh for Tulupov and a 1st and Tulupov is a 88 rated power forward. They knew this was a problem for a while and yet they waited for Miller to shit the bed. A little foresight and you get much more for Miller after the playoffs
Canucks got even more mid offense lose a strong face off % sad jt miller became bipolar asf and peterson is anemic as fuck but jt had to go regardless go all in on stronger defenseman and make quinn hughes life easier he gonna get injured prone way more and or leave this ahl team for good reason.
