You'd have thought Andersen giving a goal from an impossible angle to start the choke against the Rangers in game 6 would have convinced the Canes to get serious about goaltending… along with getting Bobbed the year before. Great Goaltending steals you games….Good goaltending gets games stolen from you.
Very easy to say "we need better Goal tending" much different to hit on the crystal ball of one that is a slam dunk for an AAV Canes can afford.
John is a damn legend! So well-spoken, professional, and likeable. I wish him all the best in Seattle.
For me, with the addition of Hall, I like the line of Hall/KK/Svech. It gives the team another big, physical line next to Martinook/Staal/Jarvis. He seems to fit better than Necas on that line. Necas is more of a finesse player.
I think we need one more piece that adds more scoring that we missed in playoffs past.
