Bouchard stays. His offensive production, especially on the power play, far outweighs the occasional defensive mistake he makes. Vancouver trade Quinn Hughes? Can't see that happening. He's their best player. The defensive version of Connor McDavid. Vancouver won't decide anything until they resolve the Miller-Petterson problem. They still have a good team. No rebuild. They can be a force, especially if Demko regains his form.
Bouchard has 8 goals this year… tied with the number of teammates he's injured with his shot, and the amount of breakaways he's caused.

Bouchard needs extra training shifts honing his defensive game and they must use his sketchy record this season to keep his price low.

Keep Bouchard, but don't overpay. Bridge him if needed, but don't sign some 8-year, $11M/per cap hit that Stauffer keeps suggesting! Getting to be the point man on the Oilers' PP really helps pad stats. Just ask Tyson Barrie who is now only paid $1.25/yr.
