Think about it this way… Last night Roster that won the game was without ( Naces, Drury ) due to trade ( Aho, Hall ) due to illness, ( Walker and Gostisbehere played less than 10min ) due to illness.
On the plus side they did pull up a good AHL player Suzuki to spell 7 miniuts and they had Rantanen in his first home game. With Suzuki and Rantanen they were still 1 man short to fill the roster.
Depleted, Sick, First NHL Rookie, First Home Game Super Star. This roster had all the reasons not show up or play flater than a Alaskan Pancake but this team dug deep and faught hard, for the win in a game that could have gone south very easily.
