The Minnesota Wild remained perfect on their 5 game road trip with a 4-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens Thursday night in Montreal. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped all 20 shots he faced in his final start in Montreal and was backed by 4 different goal scorers as the Wild won their 20th game on the road. The Wild started the scoring in the 2nd period on Liam Ohgren’s first goal of the season. Marco Rossi scored his 18th goal of the season later in the frame. Devin Shore and Freddy Gaudreau both scored in the 3rd to cap the scoring, and Marc-Andre Fleury provided a few vintage saves and got a raucous ovation from the crowd down the stretch. The Wild improved to 31-17-4 with the win. Up next is a game Saturday against the Ottawa Senators.

For those who posted how classy the Canadian fans are, let's revist this when a certain someone breaks the goals record. You'll get to see just how arrogant and insufferable canadian fans are and have always been.
See you in a few months 👋
What you witnessed on Ohgren’s goal is his shot, nasty hands – sniper. In his post game he mentioned how he likes to score goals, scorer mentality and another big time prospect going forward.
As for Brodin, he’s almost as valuable as 97. Edmonton loses the last game to the Wild if he’s in the lineup. One of the most undervalued D league-wide.
With the Evason / Hynes comparison, I think Hynes has a longer rope. Evason was more guided by Guerin and a Hynes is more trusted to make decisions. After watching Columbus knockoff Edmonton last night, Evason has done a fantastic job with Columbus, great guy, wish him the best. What the Wild are doing right now is flat out amazing…
