RUNWAY | What’s it like to debut in the NHL versus your hometown team?

Go behind-the-scenes with Parker Ford for his first NHL game and goal!

Ford, a Wakefield, R.I., native and Providence College alumnus, scored in his NHL debut against the Bruins – the team he grew up cheering for. Ford is the eighth player in franchise history to score in his League debut, joining Nikita Chibrikov (April 18, 2014), Sami Niku (April 4, 2018), Patrik Laine (Oct. 13, 2016), Nic Petan (Oct. 8, 2015), John Albert (Dec. 2, 2013), Jacob Trouba (Oct. 1, 2013) and Bryan Little (Oct. 5, 2007).
