Trade Reilly. Get rid of 3 other pieces in the bottom six. Shake it up.
Brandon Saad will replace Robertson on left wing. Robertson will then be used as a trade piece for a 3rd line center.

He is literally a -14 and he's not good.
We have to many of these guys now we need someone who can score goals and can be a difference maker . They should be trying to get Brock Nelson . He’s a known 30 goal scorer pretty well every year. He has 17 goals right now likely hit 30, again or close too. He’s 6”4 215 pounds , he has some speed and he can move up and Down at 2c and 3C . We clearly need another D man and a good forward but I don’t think we can get both . So I think they should go after a forward who can score because at the end of the day in playoffs we always have a hard time scoring.
If I’m leafs after watching last 3 games barely scoring i am doing anything to get a top 6 forward ( top 2c) . They should be going after brock Nelson or jt miller ! If they have to part ways with Cowan or minten then so be it. With Florida not being the same team as last year , I think this is the best chance for us to go at least to the conference finals .
The Toronto maple leafs need to trade for a new general manager. It appears he has trouble making trades he can only sign free agents at the end of the year. Just an observation.
Go and get miller or brock Nelson . We have to many guys like saad . Don’t get me wrong saad is okay but he’s not going to make us that much better . Nelson is 6”4 fast and is a 30 goal scorer almost every year basically . He’s $6 million if you can get isles to retain half then do it . 2nd round pick , Robertson, jarnkrook , holmberg for Nelson . Then go and get a depth d man take a run at Schenn so he can play with Reilly and McCabe and tanev can go back together as there shut down D. Oel and Benoit 3rd line
Massive mistake
Its a easy deal, just sign, nothing goes out, and that means someone on the leafs bottom 6 could be moved as a sweetener (robertson) in another trade, as they really do need to get a D who can effectively run the PP, because for some reason Rielly seems lost this season, he just isnt good.
