HOLY SHIT 6 W's IN A ROW. Suddenly a team heading nowhere and to a top 5 pick can't lose. Strange because pp still sucks yet pk has been nearly perfect. 30 beats other goalie. Louzer is in quite a pickle now. ADD for a playoff push-likely. SELL for future-less likely with every w. And word is 29 wants to go home to minny. And nj has interest in 21 returning. Quite a conundrum louzer faces now as b's, habs, flyers lose, wings w, and bj's tied up so isles are just 3 pts. out of last w c. Who can figure this shit our or what to do? We know louzer knows what to do… ADD, ADD, ADD and that means bye bye first. Louzer needs to carefully package 29, 21 for nhl ready help and go from there. Maybe its the tony d. effect-isles good now-mixed in with a few new hungry guys like perunovich? Or maybe not having 18 in line-up makes a difference. st. roy has found some winning formula.

They play much better on defense without huge defensive liability Noah Dobson. They need to remember that before they waste $10M a year on Dobson.

Perunovich and DeAngelo have played like solid defensive replacements so far.
I agree that Skarek or whomever is backing up Sorokin has to play in the back to back games upcoming.
Because we've seen what happens when you go with Sorokin for far too long the past couple of seasons.
He's overplayed, and by the time the playoff rolled around, he was clearly not himself and worn out.
PK best in the league (last 10 games 94.4 percent), and STILL WORST in the league, wow 😲
I will say DeAngelo played well again.
As great as this has been, it worse case scenario for this team. The more they win the the more likely they are to be buyers and not sellers. If reports are to be believed Brock isn’t going to resign. Cannot let him walk for nothing in the off season.
They have some very tough games coming up so I hope they don’t waste this winning streak.

They held the Flyers to 3 shots on goal in the 3rd period. Kyle Palmieri scored 2 goals, breaking out of his slump. Congratulations to Marc Gatcomb on his 1st NHL goal. The PK did a fine job. Patrick Roy won a challenge. They won 6 straight last season, and the roof caved, and it almost cost them the playoffs. LET'S HOPE THAT DOESN'T HAPPEN AGAIN. Lou Lamoriello's not only opening his wallet but using head, too. Also, for one of the few times I can remember, The Islanders and Flyers actually behaved themselves. Good morning Team! Gil, we all absolutely enjoyed this game. Great to get another win, but the pleasure is intensified doing it against the Flyers. The team played close to perfect and these games are fun. The hard decision now needs to be made. When does Roy sit Sorokin? The back to back with Tampa and Florida coming up. Both teams have a playoff spot right now. Let's see if our A-game can stack up with a few better teams. I would love to see the streak continue, but if I'm going to be real, I don't see it continuing for too much longer. The question remains, how quickly can we rebound and get on another win streak? It seems it took a while for Isles to play Roy's game ! They look like a different team . Fun to watch. Maybe trade Brock to wild but I really like what I've been seeing from this team . Happy for Simon and Sorokin ! Let's go Islanders ! Thanks Gil ! Keep it up in Florida !
I’m starting Sorokin in Tampa. Teams rested, so try to take the “easier” of the 2 points. Otherwise it’s probably a zero point weekend and that can’t happen.

Well said Gil, Barzy seemed to be playing in a fog, looks like he might not be 100%. Did anybody notice Torts benched Michkov the last 2 periods? Keep things in perspective, we beat the anemic Flyers, not the Oilers.
This is why I hate loving the Islanders. They keep us hanging on like a toxic girlfriend. Just to let us down again.
Gm Gil. My thoughts Because you don' t mess with a streak, Dobson does not have a spot on the roster as everyone is contributing. Sorokin is playing at a Vezna level, which is great to see. The Isles are playing with such confidence that they are very dangerous. While there is still a long way to go, they need to take advantage of this period before the tournament. What shocked me, i never thought the Flyers were going to win once it was 1-0. Lets go Isles!
Great job again by Gil. Really enjoy the listen. I do find it funny that us Isles fans do nothing but destroy Lou for all his ‘questionable’ decisions yet give him no credit for bringing in key emergency defensive acquisitions 2 years in a row. I’ll say it. Good Job Lou!!
