I think putting brown with mcdavid was partly to blame for why 97 seemed so off last night. Brown is, at VERY best, a low tier 3rd liner. Zero finish, terrible hands, just flailing around out there.
I’m excited about J-berg. I have high hope for him and think he’s going to find his game in time. Glad to have his experience in the locker room and on the ice.
Klingberg looked better than we could have hoped. I think he is going to be great. For a first game with a new team, let alone after 14 months off, he looked so composed. No panic in his game, which seems to be the weakness of some previous and current Oilers D
