  1. There must be some kind of story with the Saad dumping. Inquiring minds do want to know.

  2. It’ll be interesting if a non-Kraken NHL team picks Grubauer up off waivers although I doubt any such team will given his high per-season cap hit.

  3. Like I said in a previous post, Grubauer’s been an absolute bust. If he’d just played “okay” his first Seattle season, they’d have enjoyed a competitive, satisfying inaugural year. Instead he crapped the bed hard. If they hadn’t chosen Daccord, oh boy would things be extra-sour for the Kraken right now.

  4. I think a savvy manager in a place like San Jose, Chicago, or Anaheim would sign saad for cheap and then trade him to a contender at the deadline for picks

  5. The Capitols will sign Saad, and he will help them win the Cup, like every other former Blackhawk.

  6. I hope the Kraken can capitalize on a prominent signing off Grubauer in some form or fashion of a trade with the cap space.

  7. I'm reading Ghule is out for 6 to 12 months. Ouch. Full Recovery:

Complete recovery, where one might expect to regain nearly full strength (around 85-90% compared to the uninjured leg) and return to normal or near-normal activities, can take from 6 to 12 months. Professional athletes might aim for a slightly quicker return to sport, but this still requires careful management to avoid re-injury.

  8. Nice that Seattle finally realized Grubauer wasn't stopping pucks. Was beginning to think he was John Campbell in disguise. And; Sad about Saad

  9. Seattle was the worst thing to ever happen to Grubauer. His drop off since joining the team has been god awful. I think he'd still be good on a lot of other teams. There's something gotta be something going on with him in Seattle.

  10. That Grubauer signing has been HORRIBLE, why do GMs sign goalies to such long term deals? I swear, goalies are so inconsistent from year to year..

  11. Come back to Colorado, Saadfather!!

I remember when Grubauer had those stellar numbers with the Avs and got nominated for the Vezina, and even then I thought, “he’s not that good”. He had his moments with the Avs, but overall he was never a great goalie.

  12. I subscribe to your channel today. I like your quick breakdowns of NHL news……JMO but, this 4 nations tourney mid season is "NHL silly".

  13. Shouldn't there be a reason to terminate a contract, like breach of contract? Otherwise wouldn't a lot of teams try and guilt players to terminating their contract to play in "greener fields". This feels like it can be abused if you don't need a valid reason do to such a thing.
