Dylan Larkin, Alex Lyon, Todd McLellan Post Game Comments @ EDM | Jan 30, 2025
Dylan Larkin, Alex Lyon, and Todd McLellan speaks with media following Detroit’s game against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Thursday January 30, 2025.
Damn proud of this hockey team. Under Lalonde, this team would’ve folded after it was 2-0, instead they battled all the way back and hung with one of the best teams in the league. The PK looked good, and Larkin led the way offensively. Lyon was an absolute God in net, that was very impressive.
Raymond and Kasper continue to grow every night. Ray made some nasty plays, and he got the shootout goal.
What a legacy game by Lyon Well played and lead game by Larkin, game tying goal and shootout winner from the 🐐 Dominik Shine looking really good on this team hoping he stays, always noticeable unlike Veleno cough among others too Kasper another point, brilliance since moving to the top line PPG+ pace That Raymond smooth skating and pass was so awesome and superstar-esque to see unfortunately it wasn't in a spot for DeBrincat to bang it in the net What a game, beating the Stanley Cup favorites also
Seider played over half an hour 💀 I was nervous when he had that awkward fall 7 seconds into the game but I guess he was fine based off how much he played tonight lol
This is NOT the same group I watched in the November California trip. I am very happy to see the change in energy, effort and execution! LGRW! Always cheering from Alaska 🥶
O-M-G. The "What's it take to be a good road team" guy! Asking everyone the same overused, cliche question over and over. Sports journalism at its finest! 😵💫
This was one of the best games we played ao far this season. If the 2 bad bounces hadnt have happened, it would be seen as complete dominance by the wings. Over coming so many potential set backs mentally is HUGE!! Loved that we never gave up, and kept fighting!
The grit and determination are night and day compared to the Lalonde era. Lyon en fuego. Coming back on the road from 2 bad breaks against this talent shows the heart and confidence that Todd helps instill. The town is behind you guys 1000%
Great game from top line, lyon; but a great night for Johansson on mcdavid- Gustafson, solderbom and shine were great!! Love the spread out of efforts across ALL lines!!
Coming out in the 3rd like we did was awesome! Oilers couldnt keep up with us for the last half of the game. It couldve been so easy to have the oilers run us out in the 3rd, but they knew from past wins that the game was far from over.
You don't miss kane. Going back to game 1 lasg season with kane detroit has a .538 points percentage with larkin in the lineup in 77 games. Without kane? .667 points percentage in 42 games. Plenty of evidence shows get kane out of here!

The Detroit Red Wings Are Beginning To Be Red Hot 😊
Молодцы🎉🎉🎉, LGRW, 👍👍👍
Another great win against a tough team on the road! This is definitely a game we would've gotten blown out in with Uncle Fester.
Молодцы. Но сколько ошибок в первом периоде.
This is a different Dylan. Love the energy, even in the answers. He's bought in.

Reminds me of when we lost to them last year in OT on a Mcdavid goal. The difference a year makes.
