Matt and guest co-host Irf Gaffar discuss another pins-and-needles weekend where the Canucks were close to a big trade. He also informs on Alex Pietrangelo taking himself off Canada’s 4 Nations roster and whether we’ll see more players pulling out.

are there any examples of player like Petey that has a meteoric rise – an inexplicable drop off – and then pull it all together again?? if so, what was the catalyst for positive change? if change of scenery is the answer, then get on it!! because I've now seen the team try and try and try again to find him a suitable linemate to no avail. furthermore, NOBODY should be praising PA for 'locking him down' for 11.6 last year. that might age as one of the worst contracts the canucks have ever handed out.
