  1. If the isles do trade Brock it’s going to suck but for the team it’s business at the end of the day

  2. Enough with the "maybe we can make it in" talk. Sell sell sell. The milk is spoiled. Break up this gutless team now!!!!! Done with this management. I can't believe how much I miss Trotz. At least we had a coherent plan going into a season! This crap is over with. Sorry Brock but I'm sure he wants out of this circus! Now if they go after Petterson from Vancouver that's a step in the right direction.

  3. Big respect to Brock, he’s giving the team a heads up to cash in. Someone needs to step in and make sure Lou does trade him in.

  4. How does this not destroy his trade value? We can essentially trade him to Minny now, but they’re not giving up much in this scenario if they know he’s going to sign with them anyway over the summer. I guess a team that feels he’s the missing piece to a cup final/win may still be willing to give market value, but I wouldn’t count on it. It’s purely a rental at that point with no chance of an extension. Based on this I see Lou keeping him so we can squeak into a WC2 position and then get steamrolled in the first round, because Lou still believes in this team for some reason. I think his dementia has hit an all time high at this point.

  5. There is no evidence Nelson doesn't wish to be with the Isles next year. Only Nelson knows for sure and maybe his agent and Lou. Nelson hasn't said anything about his future publicly.

  6. For Lamoriello to not trade Nelson and Palmieri for assets by the deadline and lose them to free agency is 100% a fireable offense

  7. Just because he wants to go to the Wild, doesn't mean we have to trade him there (unless he has some kind of no trade/no move clause). We can trade him to where ever we can get the most return and then he can sign as a UFA with Minny after this season. Absolutely have no problem with a guy wanting to go home to finish up his career. I wish him all the best.
