Anyone speaking negatively about the Logan Thompson contract hasn't been paying attention. Not even $6MM a season. The Rangers just gave Shesterkin $11.5MM a year for the next 8 years. Shesterkin is not even in the top ten in goals against or save percentage.

Hello Dan, Caps are doing very well. Play better than most thought. The rebuilt/add good players that were roll the dice. Work out in most cases. Great deal for Thompson 6 years. A #1 must resign defenseman before fa hits. reminds me 2010's seasons. I don't see right now a player to fit 3rd line help. Don't trade to trade. keep picks to keep rebuilt going. That was missing some years ago. They started rebuilt while pens are paying for not rebuilt sooner. Caps have around 17 m left for signings next season.
