Wow! Another big fight by Sam Carrick. He destroyed Stillman and took him down with the de-de-de-de-DESTRUUUUUUUUUCTIOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!!! The only question now is WHERE WAS THE FIGHT FROM THE REST OF THE TEAM???!! Every single goal we gave up was done by stupid decisions (seriously, why is K’Andre Miller still here?). Like, as soon as Trocheck chose to pass instead of shoot on a SHORTHANDED BREAKAWAY and after the Hurricanes got a power play goal immediately after, the team just died. We haven’t seen us get this bad since December. I get we are facing the Hurricanes, and we haven’t won against them this season, doesn’t mean we can’t score against them! And with that, the Rangers got shutout and get their first losing streak to end the month. Which could have been avoided if WILL BORGEN DIDN’T GIVE THE AVALANCHE THE GAME IN THE DYING SECONDS!!! We still had a great month in January (8-3-3 record), but we can’t have a game like this ever again. Ever again! ESPECIALLY with great teams for us to battle.
