  1. Can someone please reply and just explain what the blackhawks thought process was. This is confusing and I genuinely don’t understand

  2. Necas is a very entertaining skater and he makes creative pinpoint passes. His style sometimes seems passive because he dodges contact to stay open and use his speed. But the overall effect speaks for itself in assists and goals. He and Aho together in overtime was poetry in motion. Drury is just coming back from a broken hand injury. He hardly ever commits a penalty and had some amazing goals earlier in the season. I liked how he played and his demeanor of being a good guy. I will miss these guys and wish both good luck in Colorado.

  3. Canes need a killer instinct. They need to close the deal after the regular season. Love our team, but they need a proven playoff finisher/Star like Mikko. Will miss Necas' skating & OT flare… Canes need to extend Mikko to make this franchise impactful… to lock the core in for chance at a dynasty. I will still watch Marty on the Av's… what a skating crew that will be, with Nathan & Cale.

  4. This wasn't a bad deal for Colorado. Mikko is a great scorer, but he's so lazy. Hopefully he pulls his head out of his rear for Carolina, because the guy just doesn't put in any effort defensively. And don't put him in a shootout…I don't think he's ever scored on a shootout or penalty shot.

  5. Also, Colorado gave up on him because he puts in $8M/yr effort, but wanted $14.5-15M. He wanted MORE than MacKinnon, but did less for the team.

  6. Bottom line , colorado just got weaker. As an oiler fan i approve. I doubt rantenin will produce as much as he did, different divison much tougher.

  7. As much as we love Necas, I always felt it would be better for him and us if he was traded at some point as long as it was a good trade. Drury seemed very promising for us and seems like the harder roster spot to fill right now (nikko will obviously fill any role and then some). Though I don't know ow much about hall, maybe he will fill the center role. Honestly pretty stoked overall and the situation. I dont even know ow how Rod will build the lines now, as there are arguably so many good options.
