Trading for miller is ridiculous! Why did they dump him in the pointless “sell off” if he is so good? They really can’t have 38 year old players making big money and for this long. I agree they should never have gotten rid of miller but you don’t fix that mistake by ruining the salary cap for a few years! They should have been in on Taylor hall or other players that don’t have so many years on their contract and in their age! They need a spark, which should have been given already when getting rid of “lay down” laviolette and his no contact hockey style
Mika has been awful. He drags everyone down who plays with him this year.
Drury will never win with this core group. He needs to move several players, assess current prospects, and rebuild for the future… rebuild 2.0. This teams window slammed-shut last year ECF vs Florida. No bad contracts, build cap space for future additions to prospect core.
Also I seriously have no clue why on earth ranger fans would want Peterson instead of miller EP is another soft whiner whose overpaid and rangers would have to give up more and he would just feed into the spoiled brat diva culture the rangers have already with their vets miller is a way better option even if they doing like a full blown retool on the fly stop worrying about Mika and miller being on team this year worry about Mika in offseason he will be gone within a year or 2 if miller comes to rangers they’ll talk him into waiving especially if his role is permanently lessened and hopefully the fact that his butt buddy Kreider will be gone too will help that situation and Panarin just pray he asks to leave now that we all see the cancer that he is and everyone turns on him or else just let him finish his contract and DO NOT BRING HIM BACK he’s horrible his offensive production is not worth all the other dog shit he brings to the team
Rutherford's comments may wake up both Petty and Miller to act like men and put the team first. We have won two in a row impressively and if it continues I don't see either getting moved during the season at least. But that is a big if.

If the Rangers trade for JT Miller. I'm Officially done with the Rangers for the rest of the season. Rangers still need more defensive, Defensemen. If you think Zibanejad can be fine going forward, you’re obviously not watching him play. He’s a black hole who can’t score or win a puck battle. Every player who is put on his line regresses , Cuylle was having a breakout season until he was put on the Zibanejad line and now he’s a minus player.
Laviolette puts the lines in a blender & then sends them out for the third. The guy is coaching in desperation mode. I'll bet the players hate it.
