Zibanejad was never more than a good second line center. Every time NYR faced a true 1C during the playoffs, the difference was glaringly obvious. Zibs disappeared in the last three playoffs when facing Tampa, Jack Hughes and Barkov.

They need to give Mika more ice time and more responsibility on the PP and in key situations because he's so clearly on the verge of getting his elite 1C game back.
