Instead of ‘Sid the kid’ it was Sid vs the kid, playing against Macklin Celebrini. Both Sidney Crosby and Celebrini scored but it was the young star and the San Jose Sharks who edged out the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 for the win.

The sharks desperately needed to end that losing streak. It's been a rough stretch of games and bad for team morale. Askarov was fantastic, and the team actually had a decent effort in front of him. Nice to see Celebrini score. Granlund scoring vs his old team must feel good.
