  1. the only thing I don't like about chicago being terrible right now is that they're gonna get ANOTHER A/A- prospect out of all this and will once again be stacked in just a couple of years… i want them to be a middling borderline playoff team that never goes anywhere

  2. Power was drafted 1st overall cause he's a transition D man. He's ranked in the top 3 for puck movers in the league and is good at getting the team into scoring positions on 5 on 5. He needs to work on his Defensive game. That will only come if Buffalo decides to put him with a player that either can mentor or assist him on this. Dahlin can help, but Dahlin doesn't play Transition in the same way Power does(Speed and Agility vs Size and Puck Handling). Dahlin and Byram are both offensive Defensemen. A guy that can substitute in as a forward/playmaker if needed. This is not blaming his partners btw. This is me saying, "Dude is 22 years old and needs a veteran or player that can actually compliment him to help make his game better."

Bedard is in a sophmore slump, but he'll likely get himself out of it. But his issue is similar where you need to put experienced veterans that play the way your young talent wants to to get the best results out of them and for them to learn.

  3. Bedard was hyped up to be a generational talent like Ovi, Sid, and McDavid. I'm telling you right now he's going to be great but not that level.

  4. I feel like Owen was only drafted first because he was pretty good and super tall… height in my opinion is really becoming overrated in the NHL. McTavish should've gone first that year

  5. I feel bad for Bedard for not making team Canada, his play didn’t earn him a spot, but he would have competent teammates for a couple weeks
