  1. I like the brief introduction to the opposing team. For some of the middle of lower standing teams in the east, I don't know much about their recent history in terms of top players in stats so this helps a lot.

  2. Great job JD. Go Sharks go! Crosby is still really, really good.

I know a lot of people were happy Karl was gone, I was sad… but it got us Celly. Wouldn't it be crazy if we signed The Moose somehow if Carolina draws their purse strings too tight this summer??? Then we re-sign Karl in 27/28?!! AJ Strong (of Teal Town USA) is cringing if he's reading this right now, hi AJ!! I would say bring back Karl against popular demand LOL!!!! >>> This Karl hypothetical hinges I believe on if we land Schaeffer or not, and/or if Dickinson can do Karl-like offensive things at the NHL level, and finally if Cags reaches his ceiling of PP1 guy.

As far as the NHL draft; I would expect us to land the 2nd pick this year, and Blackhawks will likely go Hagens/Misa, but if the Hawks take Schaeffer to pair with Levshunov (like Keith/Seabs of yester-year) go for Misa (speed & size) over Hagens (shifty/playmaking)! Hagens is more like a Celly, and we got Celly already, so Misa would fit our roster better!! Martone is the easy choice at 3rd overall, if one team jumps both Blackhawks & Sharks for 1st overall or 2nd overall… grab Martone who is a Hertl-like or Jumbo-like big frame player who is a bit on the slower side, but has great hockey IQ & net front prowess. I think all 4 guys are in a "league of their own" (as you've pointed out before) and where they all go depends on the lottery balls.

    Stanley Cup playoffs winner = #1: C (2-way), #2: W (high-scoring), #3: D (puck-moving), #4: G (hot goalie)

    Vegas: Eichel, Marchessault, Petro, Hill
Florida: Barky, Reinhart/Tkachuck/Verhaghe (any/either of those), Forsling/Ekblad (at least one is firing each game), Bob

We're closer as a team to being in the playoff hunt, again but our team is lacking confidence. The statement in the room next year should be "do you believe?" (with pictures of Neo in the Matrix). If we believe, we'll be the big name players of tomorrow, I think Moose (hypothetical, or a guy like Morgan Rielly traded) and/or other vets expedite our rookies development so that's why I love having guys like Granny/Toffoli/Goodie/Pickles around. Chicago didn't win with ONLY their young core, they had BIG BUFF, Boland, Steeger, and a hot goalie, etc.

    Chicago: Toews, Kane, Keith, Niemi/Crawford

You need grinders/role-players ALWAYS, but I think that formula is pretty decent.. it works for a lot of Stanley Cup winners.

    SJ Sharks ('27-'28): Celebrini, Toffoli/Eky/Smith/*(other?)*, Dickinson/Cags/*(other?)*, Asky
