This whole thing where it's a brawl whenever there's a clean hit on a player who has his head blatantly down is getting really ridiculous. That was legit shoulder to shoulder/chest not even near his head and yet there's a huge thing after. Its so beyond stupid at this point.

I commented on another thread in this comment section where I clarifed to one replier, after some minor misunderstanding, that everyone in that thread agreed that retaliatory violence is unnaceptable in response to a clean hit…. and it was immediately removed. YouTube is out of control. It was basically something like, in reference to my previous comment, "yeah, I know. I was just letting X know that we're all in agreement." Repsectful and friendly. WHAT THE HECK DID I SAY WRONG??

In any sport growing up, I played them all… If a teammate got DESTROYED by a hit, nobody is fighting. A trainer might go onto the field or ice & help the kid up as they have an injury or wind knocked out of them.
As a professional player in any sport, why would you fight just because your teammate got hit & knocked to the ground??
In the NFL do they fight after every play & every BIG HIT!?… No, it's expected you'll get hit. NHL is becoming a baby sport because nobody can take a hit in a contact sport. Take out fighting so we can actually enjoy physical play. NFL fines you for fighting, NHL should do the same at this point.
If you want fights watch MMA, Kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai, etc. NHL is for goons at this point who cant skate & fight after every body check.
