The whole collaboration thing came to be, because there was no collaboration when the AJ Brown trade was made. Vrabel clearly didn't want to trade AJ and JRob did it anyway. Where it seems that normally, if there's no agreement, they just don't make the move. It also seems that when you're going to trade a superstar player, you better have the owners full support. It looks to me like JRob made that trade without Vrabel's ok and that Amy was like, "this better work out." And when it didn't work out and AJ came back and showed out in another uniform, Amy said, "goodbye JRob."
Well said. The current structure has been needed for a long time. Amy is not a football person so there needed to be a clear leader over both GM and coach who is responsible for making it all work. And Brinker isn’t going to hire anyone he has to micromanage
It might be overblown for the rest of the nfl but not for the Titans. Knowing who has roster control is very important. The titans are known for having some of the worst rosters in the NFL for the last five years. “Oh I have final say” but “every decision will be a WE decision”. That’s so contradictory.
This team is absolutely trash 😂
