It’s UNBELIEVABLE how dominant Quinn Hughes is….

The Vancouver Canucks beat the top of the NHL Washington Capitals. Quinn Hughes and Kevin Lankinen led the way. Elias Pettersson the defenceman made his NHL debut tonight. The Canucks shut down a strong Capitals team and kept Alex Ovechkin off the board in a crucial win. Hopefully they can continue this momentum.

  1. Hughes looked turbo-Quinn tonight, I was praying for a hatty! That guy is a serious threat, and such a great skater its just amazing watching his skill, his determination, and his leadership. I hope his best years aren't squandered here.

Honestly though, the Canucks One Step forward, two-step back dance it's going to land us out of the playoffs and out of a good draft pick.

Thanks for the video, keep up the great work.

  2. Demko i hope will shine bright again. He deserves it after all the hardship. Still one of my favorite Canucks goalies over the past few years. We're very fortunate to have Lankinen to bare the weight that this team needs and is lucky to have behind them.

  3. continuing to see canucks only being able to win a game due to quinn hughes carrying these losers every night is fucking sad.
showing up randomly doesnt win a you cup let alone any merits.
sadly nucks wont win any cups until another rebuild.

  4. How can we go from one of the worst teams in the league to a playoff team in two days? Why can’t we just be good or bad like other teams? Why do we have to be both? So frustrating as a life long fan.

  5. Yea, imagine if Hughes had MacKinnon to play alongside him. No one would even bat an eye at Makar then. Canucks forwards suck…

  6. The Capitals put in like 50% effort lol. No, the Canucks can't hang with any team in the league, they're a below averge non-playoff team that had 1 lucky 105 PDO season mixed into a decade of missing the playoffs

  7. It is an absolute shame the Canucks are in shambles and wasting Hughes' prime years. This man is the best player in the league at his position.

  8. I love it when they bring out their big guns aka abbotsford Canucks like you got so much talent to compliment Quinn Hughes, Sherwood and lanky. This team may or may not have much this year but the next 4 is going to be insane

  9. Probably the best all around performance by the Nucks all year. If they can keep this up then they will make the playoffs.

  10. Keep lankinen in net until he loses. He's the reason we have had all our wins this year. Demko has been a sive, letting so many goals in he's done.

  11. Hughes was great as always. The problem is no one is looking at how terrible Hronek is. He whiffed on clearing the puck on the Caps goal. He continues to suck when he has the puck. He just turns over the puck way too much. It seems he has a time limit that he can possess the puck. He often times just blindly throws it away. I cringe whenever he gets the puck.

  12. I like Quinn Hughes and he is very underrated but y’all can’t just say he’s so great after one good game, give him some time.

  13. It was great to see the win last night. But, it still felt a little like, too little, too late. If not for Hughes and Lanks, this team would be bottom feeders.

  14. Oilers fan here, you seem biased for Hughes … he’s a good player but nothing near what you’re hyping him up to be… send all that hype towards MCDAVID or L50N…. Say it with me “Canucks are bad. Baaaaaad” 🙂

  15. He needs a team around him. Too bad the management has a hatred for every elite centerman and makes them want to leave the team, Horvat, Miller, Petterson, Lindholm. They have given the team no identity made them the most controversial team within only a couple of years, and have years ahead of buyout and contract damage that will give the team little hope. I actually believe this management does not have interest in making this team successful, otherwise they would see value in centers
