Id hope they wouldnt come to practice to hangout and chill, getting paid thousands and millions.
Really good stuff Easton
When he's talking about learning points you don't know about until you do it shouldn't he have been prepared for those as an actual head coach? When he talks about the key 7 players wouldn't Henry and Brown have qualified? Was this guy hired as like an intern to learn on the job? Also what's with playing the game of what if in first two games…NO came out of the gate lighting up teams and fell apart quickly. Carolina was absolutely wretched early but righted the ship somewhat by the end and both of those teams are dumpster fires. This guy seems like a very nice and thoughtful guy but sounds like a public relations consultant making word salads about process, messaging, a little bit of both, equivocation, etc…but with no fire in the belly.
I love this dude. Hope he has a better second season
A to Z moving up! Well done 👏
I’m quite sure ran Carthon. See things that he could’ve done better now that he had a full season as GM. Things that he would change, I’m quite sure he took notes and evaluated himself after a year and a half. But he don’t get the opportunity to evaluate himself and come back better. And that’s the privilege that we speak of.😐
Really strong interview. Thanks Easton for asking the question and then listening to the coach answer – rather than being one of those guys who has to interject himself into the interview – let the guy talk. The answer to the seven impact players question was well reasoned and clearly stated. I'll echo what I've seen others say – I really like Coach Callahan. Some coaches stiff arm interviewers – not this coach – he is one of the most engaging, down to earth coaches in recent experience. Let''s hope for a better year two.
Amazing interview that brings tons of clarity. 10 out of 10!
Decision-making, timing and accuracy well to me he’s describing Shedeur!!! he’s cool under pressure in the moment is never too big for him. Just watch him run the two minute offense against Colorado State. Cam Ward is more mobile and can create more on the run.
The weakest link on defense is our linebackers. Our D line is good. Our secondary have the potential to be top five in the league. But we do need edge rushers! We all know the problem or offense which is quarterback and offensive line mainly right tackle! In special teams, we need a reliable electrifying return guy. As well as guys who can cover.. I believe we have a good roster, but if we can get dominant, fast linebackers, and sure up the offensive line as well as a quarterback, who is competent, we’re really not that far off.
This dude won’t make it to week 11 next season.
Nick have to go! We need a real OC on this team! If you want him to be your secretary then that’s fine. If you’d like to keep him on the staff in another role that’s fine. But OC we need Doug Peterson or Eric Beienemy!!
We need Deion and his son
This is why I stick with A to Z primarily over other titans channels. Actual reporters who are around the team and speak with members of the organization on a regular basis.
Great interview. I agree with Callahan’s assessment of himself and I feel pretty optimistic about how he will evolve as a coach this year. The transparency he shows is rare and very insightful.
I see that "disciplined" is this years "collaborative"
woah!
👍🏾👍🏾
I have 100% more faith in bearded Callahan than shaved Callahan.
Damn, Cally went from lookin 40 to 50 in 1 season….
im really loving our new coach and his outlook on the players and staff! winning seasons ahead!
Great outlook as a coach, please hold onto him for a bit.
Nigga aged like 10 years since being a titans head coach 😂😂
Fantastic interview! First time hearing a coach give honest answers to the questions!
Great stuff all around
We’re drafting shedeur unless calls scared of Deion
Big move AtoZ
Coach, C'mon Man. We really have to Titanup. We need a quarterback. I am glad you are here though. Kudos Coach. Kudos.
Easton smoked this interview! 🔥🔥 Cally was super comfortable
It's rare to have a coach that you can believe it, I believe in this guy.
Great job by Easton much respect but as for cally I hope he can get better but i doubt he can. I think he just not cut out to be a head coach. He probably best suited for offensive coordinator.
Have no idea why he wasn’t fired when they decided to hire a new GM. He didn’t have the team prepared all year. The offense was not efficient and didn’t run clean. But maybe with year 2 and without Levis things will improve? Let’s hope. Titans were undisciplined and sloppy. But hey, he is a nice guy.
Great interview probably one of the best I've listened to in a long time.
Nice question! Really enjoyed the listen.
Easton, thank you. You asked all the questions you need to and you can tell Brian enjoyed talking to you. I’ve been more of a casual viewer/reader of your content but will definitely be following a lot closer after this!
