  1. Look at the Lightning game last season in November, down 4-1 after the first (prime Samsonov) the crowd was dead, Auston scores two quick goals makes it 4-3. Go look at his celly on the 4-3 goal, he's jacked and is telling the crowd to get off their ass WE ARE BACK IN THE GAME

  2. The maple leaf organization should have a predetermined amount of game each season be called β€œblue collar games” where the regular families/ people can buy tickets at a very affordable price

  3. Rogers has never cared about their sports teams. Ever. They care about profits and ad revenue. Thus the entire lower bowl being corpo seats. The gardens was never like ACC/Scotia.

  4. blame your salary ! when they moved from MLG to ACC they made families who had held onto season tickets for generations to go against corporate people to keep their seasons tickets … needless to say we have not gone since

  5. Ryan Reeves is a burden to his team and wishes he were an actual hockey player like Tom Wilson who is going to become the Captain of the Capitals when Ovi retires next season.

  6. If making many times more in one year than most fans will in their lifetime isn’t enough for you to dig deep and perform then you need to look deeper within!

  7. Toronto should worry about advancing in the playoffs instead of a stagnant fan base. You reap what you sow and Toronto had been mediocre for way to long. Make the fans get excited by winning when it counts and if you can't do that then AT VERY LEAST make tickets affordable for your sub par play

  8. i think canada in general always has been and especially now as we are all going through some vulnerability with the nuts in the country south of us, violence is for the unhinged, so i like that Canada or Toronto may not need the hormone spike from violence, Auston needs to understand that, his country and our country are just very different. suck it up and if thats all Reeves can do then perhaps he needs a new home.

  9. I have been following the Leafs since the Sittler /Salming days – I more concerned with seeing a cup while I am still alive than any fight no matter how good.

  10. The only affordable game to go to that is not nose-bleeds is the Leafs free open practice each year.

  11. agreed Auston is a leader, not a leader move Auston, i want to see more maturity and eloquence from him, and energy, he speaks so unemotionally in general, come Auston, break out of your statue and be bold, as opposed to murmurring negative comments, he mumbles, maybe throat chakra work, with the sports psych….

  12. That fight was a meaningless waste of time.

It had no purpose to the game.

We as fans are tired of this bullshit.

Give us success to cheer for, and we will cheer.

    Play good hard nosed hockey.

    Shoot the puck.

    Go to the net.

    Finish checks.

    Clear the slot.

    Score goals.

    Shut down your opponent.

    Win games.

    Then we'll cheer.

There's nothing to cheer for about a meaningless garbage dance in the middle of the rink 5 minutes into the game.

  13. I live in Vermont (Bruins territory mostly) and my bucket list was to watch a leafs game in Toronto and I was so disappointed with how quiet it was there! TD garden was so much louder!

  14. Maybe let the game play out. Wasn't the fight within the FIRST 3MINS πŸ˜‚. Was everyone even at their seats

  15. I propose the government of Ontario creates a town a little further out of the downtown core perhaps closer to cottage country. High speed rail systems directly to this town. All of our sports teams play out of this town. And any concerts that are happening will also happen out of this town. This will drastically take a lot of the traffic out of the downtown core.

  16. Also pick a bunch of games out of the year and only allow non-season ticket holders to get tickets and make them reasonable.

  17. I get to go to 1 game a year and when I cheer loudly I’m surrounded by nothing but the sounds of my own voice and I start to get shy

  18. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  19. Austin is a great player just not a team player. Those rag doll moments with the entire Leaf bench looking on disinterested and they made him captain. Leafs haven;t had a real leader since Sundin and Gilmour. None of the core 4 are leaders. Leafs need a Messier, a Gilmour.

  20. The Lenovo Centre in North Carolina sounds good too. Just from the game the Leafs played there a few weeks ago, you could hear the crowd go nuts over a power play. I was only half paying attention tot he game on the radio in the background, but that noise just cut through and made me sit up and pay attention.

  21. I have been saying it forever, Leafs fans and media are the reason the maple leafs will never be successful. It doesn’t matter how good they play whether they’re winning or losing the fans are so unbelievably critical that they completely demoralize the team and its players. It is impossible to escape the Toronto media, and when all they focus on is the negative that is all that will ever be produced by the franchise.

  22. I want to go to a hockey game not invest in the team. An average home game $ 300 (2tickets) if you are lucky , parking $30, food and booze at the game $100 +-, merch $50+++++. This team should be thanking the crowd before every game, that the seats are always full, because 60+ years in a city with not a sniff of a Cup, the team would have been sold by now. Toronto fan deserve a lot more respect for putting up with this lack of production these many years. Maybe Mathews who actually works 1 hour a week (3 games, 20+ min a game) practice time doen’t count as work to me , should take some of his $13m and offer cheaper food nights ( Mathews $1 hot dog and $2 beer nights). Many fans in the stands have SAVED up to take their kids and family to a game (maybe their only one ever, to watch privileged millionaires play poorly or if you are lucky great.
I went to Leaf games back in the 60’ when 40 of the best Hall of Fame players played for a pitence of what they get today. We booed when they played like crap and they won 4 Cup. There was no crying that the fans were not expressing β€˜energy’ , how ridiculous, that is. Mathews and the rest of the team need to find energy and win a Stanley Cup, already!!!!!.

  23. Not a leafs fan a hawks fan but like im pretty sure all i hear about leaf games is there expensive to go to like extremely expensive because tickets plus food drinks and you have to get there but tell me if im wrong im pretty sure that’s a problem

  24. I can't believe you guys are defending what Matthews said. The last thing any captain should say when they've lost 5-1 is that the crowd didn't do its part.
