Better than mike Tyson and Jake Paul
OMG ! I LOVE THAT SPORT ! 😅
Follow me for less hockey fights
I like how the refs just casual watches them 😂😂
💑
It doesn't look like either one could reach the other. Lot of swings and misses
So basically you can throw hands with your coworkers in front of an arena and then go back to work right after???
Thought someone died😧😅
why???
Better than mike Tyson and Jake Paul
I would went for waki gatami armbar since hes gripping my shirt like that. Lol
What is hockey even about? 😂
Wish football n basketball would be like this
It still blows my mind this is allowed in hockey lol. No timeouts used, no one stopping, run hands and then get back to work lol. They were going lick for lick for a second there
Fight was the best part of the game
White privilege 😮 any other sport, you touch your opponent and get fined and ejected!
Elbows and back hands?!
Hockey fights used to be sick when I was a kid.
Just why?!
Geez how hockey has fallen
NBA = thugs for fighting
NHL = ???
🤔 make it make sense
Nostalgia to when the Rangers and Capitals started the game with a all team fight back in 2021
IM TELLING YOU, ADD THIS TO THE NBA. PLEASEEE Viewership would Sky Rocket.
That was some don frye yoshihiro takayama shit hell yeah
Thought the black guy was gonna lose for a sec
Sportsmanship and respect at the end too by reaves after a loss nice visual
I’m not surprised my boy Oliver is in a fight
Game plan changed when visor and helmet came off…Reeves doesn't hide behind a visor to eat up punches…just saying…
Lol they were punching air
Toronto fans are lame snobs
Hardly any of it landed🤦🏻♂️
The reason this isn't allowed in the NBA anymore is because idiots were close lining players in the air and they were landing head first on hard wood
Nice Tilt !
Alright
This is why hockey is the greatest sport in the world, and will always be.
The Referees ate with this one !!!
These NHL Refs are with the Shyttt.
Let them boys bang it out, then jump in after like 20 seconds type shyt. Dat was a Nice Clash !!
Going Blow4Blow !!!
Let them boys get active on mommas !!!
no talent goon reaves
Is this ice boxing?
This looks like it’s written into the game. Everything is WWE now
Good scrap
If you want to know why fighting is allowed in hockey I'll tell you why:
Fighting exists in hockey because, its dangerous. Picture this: many years ago, some good Canadian boys had a bit of a dilemma. They realized that hockey, this beautiful, fast, and creative game, had a dark side. Within the rules of the game, you could absolutely obliterate someone, clean hits, crushing body checks, or even a cheap shot at the team's best player. Imagine the frustration: your star scorer or playmaker, the lifeblood of your team, taken out by some reckless hit, and there was nothing in the rulebook to prevent it.
So, these early hockey pioneers came up with an ingenious solution. They said, "You know what? If you’re going to play dirty, we’re going to play tough." Enter the enforcer. This wasn’t just any player, this big boy was a 6’4" 240 lbs force of nature whose sole mission was to protect the team's skill players. The message was simple and direct: “You take a run at our talented guy, we’re going to send someone out to crush your face”
Fighting became hockey’s unwritten code, a self-policing mechanism in a game that’s equal parts grace and grit. It wasn’t just about violence for violence’s sake, it was about accountability. You had to think twice before delivering a questionable hit because there’d be immediate consequences, delivered by a mountain of a man who knew how to throw hands.
Well thanks for reading my comment I hope you learned something about why fighting still exists and will continue to exist in hockey! Watch a game this season, and you will see this code in action still to this day. It's not as much as it was back then, much of the "braun" has left the game, however, the one thing is still true. You got a bunch of guys, going 15 mph, and they got clubs, and they're whacking each other and this tiny rubber puck is flying around the rink. Something's gotta give, and give it does.
Now, that's a fight. Old school, no defense. Fun!
