Definitely concerned about his home life. If this is how he acts in front of a live crowd and TV cameras, I can't imagine what he does when he knows no one is watching. The NHL needs to act or they will eventually have a PR nightmare on their hands.
Blaming the linesman who grabbed him isn't really fair given the fact that there is nothing he can do but pull Marchand away and tell the referees what happened. Weird that it wasn't a misconduct at the least but again, not the liney's fault.
However, Chara and Bergeron were two excellent leaders. Brad Marchand…not so much, I think it’s obvious for all to see he isn’t smart enough to be captain!

Let's throw it into this context: Say Brad finally decided to tangle and chuck knuckles with Nick and in the middle of the scrap he does this exact same thing…using his stiff arm holding Nick back by his neck, it's not just unsportsmanlike, it's dangerous. His antics have slowly gotten more and more egregious over time and really…I'm shocked someone hasn't completely McSorley'd him with their carbon fiber pool cue.
See there wasn’t a penalty on play because Cousins didn’t retaliate. If Cousins gave Marchand a push after it happened, we would be seeing a 5 game suspension for Cousins.

I never felt Marchand should be nor would be an appropriate Captain. Charlie Coyle would have been the right pick IMO.
