  1. SJ commentators are horrible. Every bump is a crime against Humanity (unless it is SJ doing the dirty hitting). The puck was in the guys feet, not "no where near".

  2. Kept his feet on the ice and leaned into the hit without elevating, that's the good part. The bad part, he was an exposed player in a vulnerable position not having had possession and the first point of contact is the head. For those who don't understand hockey, that's a big no no.

  3. Main point of contention here is that the puck wasn't in his possession yet. Already seen 2 hits this month identical to this where no penalty was called despite player injury.

  4. who is this baby cake he hit the player the same as the puck , and it was shoulder to shoulder California is in serious need of balls . Why is this great sport of Hockey in California anyway they do not go together . There is no way Hockey , and California should be in thousand yards of each other. this announcer sounds like he works for the mayor of L.A.

  5. The response has to be a fight or do same to their player. Lousy referees, players have to police the game for respect to each other.

  6. Guys, it's Nashville, of course there will be cheapshots, they are just salty bunch of inbreds, nothing more

  7. I don’t know how Cole Smith could shake his head. Dude the guy didn’t have the puck he was in a vulnerable position and the principal point of contact was your should to that guys head. They are literally showing the replay over and over. How are you still shaking your head thinking it was a good hit. Hits like this have ended guys careers. Get ready for that phone call and a suspension.

  8. The Refs are so fucking clueless, watch the hit prior to that one FIRST
This isnt shitty officiating isnt going to stop until theres a serious injury, and i dont mean a concussion

  9. Definitely a predatory hit, but I don’t see how it’s interference when he played the puck off his skate a millisecond before the hit
