might sound cliché but JT Miller is the heart and soul of the team. Not sure what the internal issues are but I would be super frustrated with Pettersson too if I played with him. When he puts out an effort and forechecks (and his weird back first checks), he can be very effective and create scoring chances for his teammates and himself. But so many times I see him sulking and that's a serious motivation issue for a team paying a guy $11.6US. Miller would be intense to play with but that's the mentality you need to win and raise the level of others. Miller is the team's big brother and you never trade that guy…

They went into the league with similar expectations on them, from the same country, obviously both have had their struggles, but Laine “made it” and Pulju has had a rougher journey.
