What question do you get the most frequently that drives you crazy? I'd imagine it's probably centered around either Sullivan, EK, Jarry and their desired departures from fans.

The problem is the pens also are one of the laughable teams not to be taken seriously.
Hey DK…….I sure hope every subscriber you have has an opportunity to rip me come playoff time but realistically I don't think it'll happen. I think I saw that they will most likely need north of 20 wins to get in? Don't get me wrong, watching this team steam roll LA had me pretty happy in the moment, but then I almost expect them to lay an egg against Anahiem and I hate thinking this way. Something you mentioned was they are starting to believe in each other, after 50 games they are developing into a team? Does that not say a ton if you read between the lines? Looking at the uphill climb, the leash should of been xmas, but even if you extend it to the end of this road trip, if they are playing 500, they should be trying to move the no trade guys, its like Jake last year…….keeping him wasn't going to make them win, its the same for Rakell and many others this season. You hate to see these guys go, but allowing them to walk away or age out makes zero business sense. Its time for Dubas to put the band together in a room and tell them to prove us all wrong, here's the window……and if they can't get it done, who wants to go. Keeping these players won't bring the cup, nor will it improve the future, the retooling didn't work, there needs to be big moves now. This team has shown zero consistency all year, to expect a 22- 12 record to get in, then to be in and do something is so unrealistic…….its delusional! I know I'm long winded, call it passion, I hope I'm wrong, and I hope there's 5000 sunscribers on here letting me have come playoffs. I won't be holding my breath though, I believe this season is a third wash in a roll with no playoffs……..a seventh year without a playoff series win.
DK my take is that the Pens are not going places with this overall team makeup so maybe the big overall would be the best thing for our Pens. This is evident by a pattern of not making the play offs recently and a longer pattern of not advancing in the playoffs when we do get in. The Pens played an almost 100% across the board great game in LA and that seems to be what it takes to win for these Pens. They need to play at that level every game and I dont think hockey teams can do that. They have to be able to win when some components arent playing well..like if the goaltending is less than almost perfect or the puck just wont go in. Plus when their Plan A game isnt working out there, they have no Plan B to shift to

Do you feel, that in Free Agency, Dubas has been more focused on players he can eventually flip for futures rather than taking a chance on the Morgan Geekies of the NHL? Eller was good for the Pens, Grzelyck is shaping up on pace for 40ish points, Acciari has been mediocre, but I look at those choices and wonder if that's congruent with the plan.

J1Q: Do you think keep the core together is still a valid way to bring the cup back to Pittsburgh one last time before Crosby retires? Or should a retool of maybe one or two of the core players being used to retool would be a better option?
Enough, this is a sub par playoff bubble team. If they get hot in the last 2 weeks they might get in, but so what they have about a 10% chance of getting out of the first round and 2% chance of surviving the second. Rebuild and stop torturing us. Somebody be the adult, please
We, as Pens fans, are arguing over improving the team enough to make the playoffs as the last wild card team. We are not a competitive team. We are not a championship caliber team. Why are we wasting time fight for one last playoff appearance? Accept what we are and start the major retool/rebuild.
Do people really think trades will get us to the cup? I don't want a team that backs into or squeaks into the playoffs. Our talent is there. I don't want to trade for present success. It usually means we are losing talent because of a salary dump.
The loss from an oh no, 2-0 lead drives me crazy. Sometime I get so frustrated when it seems they just want to save their energy and waste time during a game. Something is wrong when we have all of these overtime losses. Sorry for the rant.

Its feels like ALL of canada is ready to implode over McDavids 3 game suspension. But when you look back at crosbys career where were their pitchforks when questionalbe calls happened to him? Guess if you dont play on that side of the border you are dead to them? If 87 played for the jets he would instantly become the TRUE Great One! Oh canada!
Probably Columbus will take one spot of play off. Young roster , good goaltending. 🐧 core players avarage of age is quite high, lets see how good physical shape they will be last 30 games.
Btw after JP was removed from the roster, we got disappointed here in North Europe and not anymore motivated to wake up 2:00am in the night :)). But let's see positive side – We can sleep at night now:)))
The Blue Jackets? They've beat The Pens twice so far this season. I knew right then & there they were getting so much better. Those days of beating up on them look over.
