Hughes has as many goals as 11.6.
Six Canucks have more goals than 11.6.

EP40 has been forced to cater to both Miller and Tocchet so perhaps the problem will not disappear until the coach changes his approach? EP40 just had to conform to playing shit minutes on second line with subpar line-mates (which is BS), while JT was allowed to bolster his numbers. Miller is an elite second liner, nothing more. His bullying is so distasteful, especially when you are not NUMBER 1. Hypocritical screaming does not work with quiet, world class players. Elias would have ended up exploding/killing Miller in an assassination if he would have allowed himself losing composure. And it is mis-coaching as well. If Bodreaux can get the best out of EP why not Tocchet? This is bloody obvious.
This is BS and the usual post-game losing excuses and BS Yadda-Yadda.. Petterson is clearly uncomfortable at having to answer any questions at all, especially about his lousy stats at this point in the season. The Canucks media has to be very careful not to ask really tough questions about this, or they will get blacklisted. But Canucks fans like me who deserve a lot more, want an answer to this question to Petterson: Do you really believe you are worth being paid as one of the Top Five Highest Paid Players in the NHL in 2024-25 ? #1 — Matthews, #2 – Mackinnon, #3 — McDavid, #4 — Ovechkin —- and #5 Petterson? Do you really believe this is justified, that you should be paid $3.5 million more than Hughes, Miller, Demko, Boeser, etc? Do you really believe that you are a superstar franchise leader on the same elite level as those other top names in the NHL? Because so far — you are NOT worth it! Your goals/assists stats suck! This is hurting the team. And you are showing very little signs that you are going to become the franchise superstar that Canucks management mistakenly thought you would.
Petterson is a classic example of the old saying: "There's two kinds of players —- guys who show up to play hockey, and hockey players". Petterson is a guy who shows up to play hockey. Miller, Hughes, Garland etc are hockey players. In the NHL, there's a big difference. That's part of the reason for Petey's poor goals/assists this season.
It's been a long time since Petey was happy, you could see it in his eyes for a long time now. Is it time to leave, and not sacrifice your prime years in a dysfunctional team?
