You live once and these are the best years if his life happening right now. Enjoy it and move on like other great 40 something year old legends of the past like Jagr, Messier, Chelios, Selanne, Howe and a few others. When you have talent at ovechkins level and the passion, just ride it out as long as you can. 1000 could happen long before he is 45 even if his play dimishes somewhat.
