  1. It's time to start a diologue with some of these guys… Let me know down below, which prospects that I mentioned do YOU think are heading towards bust territory? And which of them do YOU still see living up to their potential? #GravGang

  2. Chaz still playing good hockey when he’s healthy makes me feel like he genuinely had/has something so special – almost every prospect would have taken themselves out of the NHL trajectory running if they had as many injuries in their development as he has. We’re rooting for him so hard!

  3. You have had some of the most 🗑️ takes for a while now, seems like ever since you took up that betting sponsorship you’re pushing out videos for the sake of the money…genuinely, these aren’t busts, 80% of those players had injuries and you should well know that we don’t consider injury’s a bust, just unfortunate. Do better please Nathan.

  4. I feel like 22 is the earliest you can call someone a bust all these guys at 20 still perfectly fine in my opinion

  5. Hey bub korchinski couldn't go to the whl last year because of those dumb rules you need to get your facts straight

  6. Spot on about what every fan is saying about Lysell. Could be a great speedy/change of pace player for Boston, plus he's more physical on the boards than expected. Nobody knows why hes stuck in the AHL

  7. Wallstedt as a 22 year old goalie whos had like 10 bad games for a single season since his draft idk how you can say hes trending towards a bust thats insane to me goalies are always slow at developing if he was 24 or 25 then sure maybe but at 22 years old hes no where near trending towards bust territory based on a slow start to a single season. Sure he had a lot of pedigree coming into his draft but he wasnt even the 1st goalie selected and went outside the top 15 at 20. Its not like Iowa has been a powerhouse either in the AHL they arent even very good. I'd still bet he will be better than Cossa out of that draft

  8. No way this dude just put Kevin Korchinski as a bust worst take he's 20 I feel like bust gotta be 23-24 range in the first round. I know this guy hates the Blackhawks considering everyone of his videos is dissing anything they do.

  9. If Chaz Lucius can stay healthy this season and next he has a good shot at being an NHL regular. If he gets another major injury before the end of next season he may never get a shot. hopefully he finishes this season, has a good summer full of training, and comes back to the AHL at 22 ready to dominate and be a call up option.

  10. I mostly worry that people will jump to the conclusion that a players a bust b4 they get a chance to progress, Kaopo was a "bust" Till last month

  11. If you care about analytics, they've been nothing but extremely positive for Drysdale since he came back from injury. The only real diss you can say is that he's playing against worst competition, but even then, his results have still been borderline elite. Would love to see you mention that next time.

  12. In terms of being the top goaltending prospect let's get real here, Askarov has been the number one for a while over Wallstedt.

  13. great vid grav. can we please start discussing kyle chyzowski? 2nd in the WHL in scoring and went undrafted in his year.

  14. Grav….I feel like Luscious will be the biggest success in this thread. Just give him time to get going like Turcotte and Zegras. Injuries haunt them but once they get going….watch out

  15. Brisson was never expected to be a full time player I feel. He was expected to be a guy that plays 30 NHL games a year but they definitely missed on him. Drysdale isn’t a bust but was drafted far too high he should have been a 3rd rounder as he’s just a bottom pair NHL guy.

  16. If a player is drafted in first round everyone thinks in couple years they will be in the NHL and with how skilled the league is now it takes longer if even they can make it in the NHL

  17. What about David jiricek? Traded from Columbus, plays well in AHL but couldn’t seem to find it at NHL level

  18. I believe Wallstedt will be just fine, goalies are not always linear in their development. He has the tools to be a very good goalie.

  19. Covid drafts have altered the development path for so many of these guys. Seem to be running a year behind where they should be. Some teams are going to collect a bunch of these guys when they term out on their ELCs and hit a few jackpots

  20. The other part about wallstedt is making the nhl roster and then gus plays so well they had to send him down to iowa may have had a mental toll. Being excited im gettin my shot to oooo gus is playing insane and ofc flower is flower. And ofc hes injured now

  21. Nathan, it’s been reported 100's of times, particularly by Cheveldayoff himself that McGroarty never demanded to play in the NHL, and that had nothing to do with the trade request, I don’t know why you keep bringing that up in videos.
And he had a tough first 10 pro games while he adjusted, but he’s been nothing short of outstanding for the last 17 games in the A, after being over ppg in college and the wj's while captaining his team to gold, so I don’t really know why he was mentioned here

  22. A lot of context is missing regarding McGroarty…First of all, he knew he was starting the season in the AHL and had 0 problem with it. Dubas and company talked to him prior to the trade and him signing his ELC. All of his teammates laugh at the narrative that he never wanted to be in the AHL. Due to the penguins being injured, he made the opening roster. but once the penguins got healthy, everyone knew he was going down. It is nice to see someone actually acknowledging the recent improvement in play though considering he has 9 points in his last 9 games and has been a great net front presence on the baby pens powerplay.

  23. Watched a ton of Alexander Holtz due to being in close proxy to the Devils affiliate. Big turning point in Holtz's development was the trading of linemate Fabian Zetterlund and then his constant flip flopping between AHL and NHL.

  24. putting korchinski on the list makes no sense. He's only 20 years old and has 85 NHL games under his belt. He has been much better this year. He's better defensively and is much more physical and aware in the defensive zone. The offense will take time to click but again he's only 20 years old no one expects him to be the next cale makar

  25. Reichel has actually looked really good this year. The numbers aren’t there yet, but he’s finding confidence and playing solid

  26. I was disappointed when Ottawa picked Sanderson instead of Drysdale, man was I off. 😳🏒

  27. The only one I hope is a bust is Rutger, any player who think they are bigger than the game (Gauthier, Fox ) deserves to be. 🤷🤷

  28. The thing about Drysdale is that it was only this time last season he was traded and finally got to a REAL organization. The Ducks development of young players is a joke. Add the injuries and here we are. I agree 6th overall was likely too high, but he's an eager student and Torts & Brad Shaw are making him better. Bottom line: Lets see where he is this time next year.
