   Stanley every fan wants gone he's 26 now he's a bottom pair or 7th guy. Trade him

   -Toews sign 100% even 2 yrs deal if he retires maybe give him similar how Toronto did Spezza a management or hockey ops position Chevy/Heisinger arnt getting younger. He still was a good defensive player,faceoffs and knows what takes to win.

   Jets should just trade for Ristolainen/Dumoulin and Kadri or Cozens. At least have team control or signed and I agree with Ehlers leaving,Appleton,Pionk,Iafallo UFA money will be there.
   Perfetti has potential but if you can move him for a more consistent player or a dman do it but get a replacement like Bjorkstrand,Bertuzzi,Nyquist,Hall,Teravainen,Dach. He goes long stretches of nothing.

   Unless they want a D-man to sit in the press box during the playoffs and unless Stanley is involved in a trade, then they need to stay away from another D-man who we won't play

   take the risk on a dman with term. I'd be fine trading for pionks replacement and letting poink walk to free agency. I'm not comfortable paying pionk for his career year, he's a smaller dman that when is over played gets overwhelmed and resorts to flopping on the ice like a fish, is puck movement isn't good enough to make up for his faults, if the jets acquired a guy like weegar. drop pionks minutes 5v5 and allow him to do his thing on that second pp unit. if the gets enter the playoffs with pionk on the 3rd pair I think we can win the cup
