Let me beat dem cheaks
Nemec is deffs getting traded, whether or not its to the habs idk but on the right side if their signing Kovy and putting their trust in him, i dont see them removing Hamilton or Hughes for Nemec but they are in need of better forward core and Nemec deffs has some value
we do have their 2nd/3rd pick. maybe they want that back, and evens. to start.
It was to fast for beck
Why are the Habs jerking Beck around? He got 2 games with little playing time.
Unlikely the Habs are interested in Nemec, they have Mailloux and Reinbacher coming, both Right D men. Nemec would also be costly!
IMHO Habs were testing if #62 Owen Beck was ready to join the habs full time next year. But the test was inconclusive so they decide to continue to develop #62 Owen Beck in Laval for now !
However i believe the habs miss a great opportunity to figure out stuff right away i.e. by moving #71 centre Jake Evans as the third Line Centre instead of Christian Dvorak and test #62 Owen Beck as the fourth Line Center with #28 Christian Dvorak on the LW instead of #62 Owen Beck.
#13 Cole Caufield, #14 Nick Suzuki [C] #20 Juraj Slafkovskỳ
#15 Alex Newhook, #77 Kirby Dach , #92 Patrik Laine
#17 Josh Anderson , #71 Jake Evans , #11 Brendan Gallagher [A]
#28 Christian Dvorak , #62 Owen Beck , #40 Joel Armia
#55 Michael Pezzetta (Healthy Scractch)
#48 Lane Hutson – #08 Mike Matheson
#21 Kaiden Guhle – #45 Alex Carrier
#72 Arber Xhekaj – #58 David Savard
#47 Jayden Struble – (healthy Scratch)
#24 Logan Mailloux – (Laval)
#35 Samuel Montembault
#75 Jakub Dobes
#30 Caydan Primeau (Laval)
#31 Carey Price (LITR)
Why mess around with the chemistry that’s happening now relying on the farm system is the best chemistry
No upside for Montreal in getting Nemec. The team already has many young right D and he would end up right back in the AHL sulking cuz he's not in the NHL.
With Hage and Kapanen coming, you could trade Evans and have Newhook as your 3C. Sign Ehlers to slot in with Laine and Dach! Package a pick, Reinbacher and Beck for Nemec
