The Vancouver Canucks just lost to the Buffalo Sabres. JT Miller rumours aren’t quieting down and losing in this way wont help. Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson looked good but the rest of the team needs to step up and get it done in a game like that.

I blame the owner. The people running the team who have say on which players to sell, who we get in return, who should we draft, etc are unqualified DEI choices & ex-players with no experience in their job. It's time to clean house, trade players for good players not a temporary fix until the next draft hoping then for luck that we get the next Bedard.
I've been with this team from day 1.
I always find it funny to be told I'm not much of a fan because I'm willing to call out the crap.
The reality is, if we keep going to games, keep letting them play well below their skill level, keep giving them pass after pass, excuse after excuse, they will never attempt to get better.
Why should they when their fans are willing to accept year after year of mediocrity, or worse!
I will always follow my hometown team, but you can be damn certain I will ALWAYS call out horseshit, 10 ply play!
This is what happens when the referee's help a team win , the proof is in the pudding . Vancouver always get preferential refereeing when they play teams in their own division.
Demko is shaky, the team is low in confidence and then they have a shaky goalie…..not a good recipe. You know how it is when life keeps kicking you in the privates? How it plays on your mind? This is what the Canucks are dealing with this year……can't get any traction, as soon as they do, another slippery slope appears.

Hate to say it but this team is just done. Poor Hughes: he’s too nice to complain, but he must be tired of the garbage.
They love to try in the last 5 minutes of the game! Where the fuck was the intensity for the rest? Why aren’t the leaders/coach calling people out and trying to get the group to buy in and dig deeper.
We are not out of it yet.. Stay positive even if you have to fake it to make it. A few wins and we are back in the trenches. It's easy to be mad.. challenge yourself to be more positive.

Hurts to watch Hughes and Garland putting their EVERYTHING out there and not getting any help back. Boeser is also on that list of players who should just be scoring with the chances he got in this game. Nice shot by Petey tho
