Love the questions about the lack of calls on McDavid and the Oilers in recent years, it’s getting too obvious. Connor draws at least 10 a night, but only 1-2 get called or else we’d be on the powerplay the whole game. I get that the league probably doesn’t want that, but the games gotta be called fairly.
Unfortunately, those who are highly successful end up being treated unfairly more often. This is driven by a sense of Envy. The ugly sentiment that says if I can't have it, then no one else should. Or anyone else who does I'll try to stop.
Totally agree. Can't have that reaction, no player can. Thw quote that hit for me was when he said " I know the refs have a hard job, but I have a hard job too, that's why we are in this business" garland admitted in his quote that he was holding him, blatantly saying he is cheating to win the game. Unreal
Call the rulebook. He also said years ago that he just wants consistency. If it's hooking call it, holding call it. If we have 100 penalties in 5 min then the players will adjust. Call the rule book
NHL could be so much better but this only comes by letting talent play and those who can’t really keep up , and need to cheat get penalized regardless of the time of the game.
He is is "very polite" about it. I would not be the same way. He draws in millions of $ for the league and the refs act like they are in a beer league. This kind of referring is what got top talents injured and it is at the detriment of the league who seems to be too stupid to see this. It's time Betman goes away and someone with fresh eyes revives the league.
Connor McDavid is absolute must watch hockey! I didn't become an NHL fan until 20s; excited to have seen #97 in person at UC. His speed, instincts and skill are why we all love hockey! (Blackhawks fan since '93).
LOOOOSER MCDAVID should have gotten more than 3 games That same game he put his hockey stick in the Vancouver player neck no call No call on the elbow to the head on the Minnesota player

It's a home stand for the Oilers. If the next 3 games were in NY/Leafs/L.A. it would have been 1 game!
I bet $$ that refs make paper bags of cash. On the take.
One more question….was there ketchup on the nachos?
Thank you Connor for being a great hockey player that every team is jealous of and also for being a good person.
We love you Connor🧡💙
Fans have your back Connor.
1:29 was way more funny than it had to be 🤣
he got suspended because a lil'rat jumped him, and mcdavid punched the rat in the face.

Shows how gutless the league is protecting Garland and smearing McDavid as a repeat offender. The league's own definition of repeat offender:
"A Player is considered a repeat offender for 18 months following his most recent incident that resulted in a suspension." Yeah right.
People are forgetting that mcdavid was ontop of garland first lol
Love the honesty. Basically do better refs. League is just rigged.
I like the players that understand the suspension and just move forward and say that they shouldn’t retaliate like how they did.
Connor you answered these aggravating questions with grace and honesty thanks
I agree. Take matters In your own hands if they can’t blow a whistle. Van won’t make playoffs anyways. And if they do. They will be out first round
For a blue collar city tall sure do cry a lot.
😂We do want to see that out of you Connor! We’re proud of you! Enjoy your rest days!
Garland is a diving baby
The way he ended that was hilarious
He's gonna light of up on Saturday.

As a fan the games feel rigged with the bias penalty calls

Why did the ending of that interview look so awkward. 😂
League made a big mistake Connor about to go off
I love it. He’s so annoyed. You have every rite to be CON. Stick it to them when you’re back. I can’t wait
Too diplomatic. Have set of 🎱🎱 for once Conner!! League sucks simple.
bottom line : stop holding the goat!! lets go oil!
Of course the first ever game I can attend to watch Mcdavid play he get suspended 😂

Mcdavid is pissed off! Never seen him like this, finally the cup is coming back to Canada!
