What do you think of Swayman's play lately?
I have been riding Sway hard all season. He has been playing better lately for sure and you are correct his supporting cast leaves alot to be desired.
He stepped his game up just need help on the defense
For what we pay him… he needs to show this for a little longer before I’m doing backflips, but it’s more than a start

That all said, his mind AND hiis body were not ready, once the nastiness of negotiations were finished. He wasn't in the right "MINDSET"
I believe he is now. Whether it was the goalie change, or the room finally coming around to him and their roles,. too.
Despite everything, Swayman stole that Florida game. After the Tuesday Tampa game, there's a big stretch without any games. I wonder if the Bs will try to make a roster move of some kind… even if it means sending someone down, calling someone up, and even putting someone on waivers.
43 to 18 shots on goal in favor of Florida. Ridiculous .. Swayman can't hold up his sharp play if this disparity continues. BTW, every single Bruins player should watch video of Reinhart's play (11 shots on goal) .. that's how you play the game.

Three games does not a goalie make! Swayman has a lot to prove going forward. He did steal the game against the Panthers so hopefully that is the turning point for his season.
Swayman is playing better. He's getting some of the nasty saves again finally. He's also letting in some really bad goals that he never used to let in. Time will tell. He's on his way, but he has a way to go still. Korpisalo is good enough to replace Swayman and take us through a playoff series and potentially win it for us. I've said this about him since before the season starts. When Korpi goes on a streak, it's impossible to score on him. He has 2 shutouts in a small number of games played. If you took Korpi's worst 3 games off his record where he was left in the game to get smoked, his stats would be in the top of the league.

Good to see Sway playing to his true capabilities. I still think he has another step to make, so fingers crossed.
Short answer……No! It was one game. He is still just a medicore goalie who the Bruins decided was worth top dollar for some unknown reason.
Swayman has proven to us that he is a very good goalie… number 2. Unfortunately for him, the BRUINS are in dire need of a great number 1 goalie.

Making the playoffs is a very difficult task right now. The competition for the final spot is fierce, if the Bruins are to make it in they must turn it on now and the next two games are critical to win.

Agreed, Swayman starting gives us a better chance of winning, also the D needs confidence in consistency of NM, So show confidence in Swayman and it will breed success
