Bottom 6 is looking rough but I think we need another true top 6 winger
I think we need some new lines;
Palat, Nico, Bratt
Palat and nico are both responsible and keep things simple, bratt can dance
Cotter, Hughes, Timo
Cotter and timo have a hard edge and jack can dance
Tatar, Mercer, Noesen
Noesen is a bottom 6 guy and need to be utilized to clean up the trash jn front of the net. Tatar and mercer just gotta shoot. Tatar gets a bump because he works his ass off.
Dowling, lazar, bastian
Just hit everyone
Also bratt should go to pp2 and timo on pp1 on the right side to just blast away like ovechkin in the office. and have noesen clean it up.
Neosen has been good but he's not a top 6 guy we need another top 6 player
Need a guy like Granlund who’d be great at 3C. Evans isn’t going anywhere as long as the Habs are doing well. Also, think that the other GMs are in a wait and see mode, which isn’t doing us any favors.
I don’t see this as a defensive issue. Yes, jacks giveaways are bad, but he’s a top tier play maker. He’s gonna push it and sometimes it’ll fail, that’s where a good D squad comes to the rescue and they have been!
I also feel like Jack is getting shit on a lot, but I feel like he gets points almost every night. The guys are getting looks, they just aren’t burying it. I can’t understand why.
I’m worried, but I’m still leaning towards this being a slump. Fingers crossed!

– Hamilton gone
– Puck moving defensemen x2 (can include Nemec)
– Top 6 winger
– Bottom 6 center
We need to be willing to make a BOLD move. Trade Hamilton, Bratt. We NEED more size. This is absolutely clear to anyone watching these games. They can’t possess the puck.
Watch a team like the capitals. They are strong on the puck and play the most simple game I’ve ever seen. Effective.
