We need to talk about Connor McDavid and a scrum which happened late game between the Vancouver Canucks and the Edmonton Oilers. All that and more on today’s NHL hockey video!
Hronek and Holgander got slashed by McDavid, no call Pettersson was held in the corner for literally 5 seconds no call, if they aren't going to call those then why should they call the stuff on mcdavid.
the fact that the most despicable cheating you can possibly do by literally taking the best player out of the play in the final seconds is far and away the best thing you can do actually digusts me, i dont know what the league can do about it, but intentionally cheating is just stupid and i cant even blame garland for doing it, he won in this situation, and its just plain dum
I think it’s hard as a ref to watch who is initiating holding in the wrestling matches and they’d rather let it go than penalize someone who they shouldn’t have

I would really, really like to hear the refs (try to) explain what they were thinking by not calling Garland for (take your pick) holding/interference/assault.
The fact Garland never even got a penalty is disgusting. The league really needs to change some rules so you can't just pin someone down for the last 30s of a game, the 5s pp is not a deterrent. Honestly Garland should sit in the penalty box for the first 10 minutes of the next game to think about why he got a cross-check to the head. Also what did Bouchard do?
This is a continuation from the last few years when a game is close, the refs just let everything go – which is wrong. A penalty is a penalty fucking call it, no matter what. I'm more frustrated that refs aren't calling this stuff when it happens and letting the DOS take care of it later. So stupid.
The fact that the refs didn't call this is the ultimate proof that NHL refs might as well be traffic cones with a coin to flip anytime a possible call or no call needs to be made. Utterly pathetic league constantly trying to ruin the best sport.
I like the part where Garland takes a big cross check in front of the net and the puck goes in off the Oiler's foot for Canucks first goal. Then Garland puts the drapes down on MickyD at the end. Took a beating for the win. Idk what else you want to talk about. The shorter player was the bigger warrior in this game.
Mc Mad sucker crossed checked him from behind 2 handed to the head. Get your perspectiives corrected. The Miled Myers was a common scrum move but guy did a silly selly. Mc David is not untouchable, he is a spoiled dirty player.
So where is the outrage when players get crossed checked after a player scores. Sorry but I’m so sick of the double standards. Call all of it. The holding the cross checks the obstruction. Let high quality players play and get rid of the bottom 3. Shorten the bench. Shorten the game to 3 x 15 minute periods. And lose the goons.

There was no less than 4 holding or interference penalties on Garland . The refs shit the bed on that . McDavid should’ve just let go of his stick and punched him . Don’t hit a guy in the face with your stick.
I was just thinking, maybe, just maybe, highlight the offense in a clip, than you need to become a talking head after, less highlights unrelated to the event after. Way too much leverage to give the NHL to copyright strike you. 🙁

Such a rule would be good! Even though: circumstantial evidence should be taken into account! – does it happen away from the puck? – is the player important for his team's last minute push? Then: do it!

Canucks frustrated them last season as well, we saw them snap and take penalties . If they can’t score they snap.
