I like how you included the broadcast staff in the update! My wife and I enjoy the commentary just as much as the game. However we REALLY miss you hosting the pre, int., and post game shows. Its just not the same, and we are really trying lol
As a life long Sharks fan from NJ, i just want to thank Brodie for shouting out Johnny Gaudreau. I got married the day his sister was about to get married. Our rehearsal was that night also. I do live in Florida now so we weren't there, but man, his passing really hurt me. I am just 2 years older than him, so it made me think about the similarities bewteen all men our age, trying to make it and raise our families. I was never really a Johnny Hockey fan either, but I am now. I showed my 6 year old a hockey game on TV for the first time a few weeks ago and the Blue Jackets happened to be the team that was playing. I got my sons attention by saying "just wait, if they score, they shoot a big cannon" and they did. So he is a Blue Jackets and Sharks fan now, and I dont mind their success, even if its at the Sharks expense for a night.
Nothing but love for you Brodie you’ve been a staple in Bay Area broadcast for 2 decades it seems.
But I honestly believe that whole read slowly with such drama like tone is kinda too dated. I don’t think it’s needed at all anymore. That’s more of a serious tragic like tone now it seems. Just be more you like if we run into you at a store or something. Keeping it so proper is too old now just keep it like real Brodie would sound 👍 only some suggestions that all
