  1. BS. All this stuff is rumours. Rumours are for teenagers, old lady sewing circles and sports commentators who need hits and likes. FO

  2. I don't know what the deal is with Miller, but if the Canucks are shopping him, you would think that their season goal of making the playoffs is done, and they should be looking at other restructuring trades. Petterson's contract is going to keep him in Vancouver, until he figures it out, or they buy him out. I'd like to see them deal Lankinen and Boeser before losing them for nothing at the end of the season. If they can't sign Suter, then move him for something too. Branstrom and Karlsson are a couple of interesting Depth Pieces that might attract some attention? And there HAS to be a playoff bound team that would be willing to give up more than they should to add Sherwood to their playoff roster.
The Canucks could take a step back next season, bring up 4 or 5 players from Abbotsford and get into the Free agent pool for the rest of what they need. And what they need is to build a line around Pettersson that Fires him up, and gets him back on top of the offensive stats.
The team can't keep doing the same thing over and over, making the same mistakes, and expect a better result.

  3. NJ is less likely because the money wont work. However, if Brock is in play Van can retain on him and NJ can move out a 4 mil contract much easier than 8 mil. (mercer)
Theoretical moves if teams are interested would be Brock (retained) Suter and Klimovich for Mercer and Nemic.
Then Van can deal with NYR without demanding a D which might be the NYR holdup. so maybe Miller and Forbort (free add) for Laferniere and Othmann.

If Van is selling that is. If Van is buying then I still believe the target would be Chicago for Murphy and either Hall in the same deal or with Buffalo and Zucker in a different deal after Murphy.

  4. As a NY Rangers fan, I hope we get JT back but he's not worth much more than a third line player or perhaps a player that might not be resigned next year. I would even hate to see Jimmy Vessey go…

  5. Garland thing is embarrassing

What kind of a joke of a team has to resort to that shite

One that can’t defend is what

Hope the Oilers go midget tossing on Thursday

  6. Willing to bet JT wants out and that’s not going to change, just the right situation and he’s gone.

  7. Pettersson is still one of the better players on the roster. Best faceoff guy, and great defensive presence. One of the best passers. I think with Miller gone it will help for him. His 200ft game is way better than Millers always has been. see miller coasting on pretty well every "backcheck"

  8. Sometimes u think it's not true, bit the media talks so much shit about the local hockey team to push nothing into something

  9. I’d rather get the bigger haul from Pettersson. Miller for a J Hughes is probably not possible but a trade one to one with Pettersson might be attractive.
