I was at this game, GF’s gift for Christmas was for us to go. For context I’m a new fan, first season really watching, this game may have made it my only season. I’m definitely gonna round out the season before saying for sure, but it’s hard to want to keep watching a team that plays like this in front of fans and appears to refuse to make the changes that need to be made. There’s like no light at the end of the tunnel to wanna keep watching next season since it looks like it’s gonna be more of the same if not worse because of Lou’s refusal to make the changes that need to be made
If he playing like he wanted to be traded then he is doing the opposite then what he should be doing and Nelson may want to leave who knows but his family has been here forever i dont see him really just wanting to get up and leave
1) lack of high end talent (2) horrible long term contracts (3) Last in the entire league in PK and PP !!!!!!!! (4) incredible inconsistency (5) Roy lack of fire – he’s like a puppy dog (6) farm team in last place with no talent (7) regression in numerous players – 2 many to list (8) THE ONLY POSITIVES ARE OUR GOALIES WHO NEED TO STAND ON THEIR HEADS WITH NO ASSISTANCE IN THE CREASE (9) finishing of checks and body checks are virtually non existent (10) It’s as if our team forgot how to play hockey. (11). We need some nastiness on this team (12) Lee may be having a good year but he is the captain and the leader and I give him an F for that. (13). Need I say more……………
Varlys cap hit would be a nice one to offload if Hogberg continues to play good. A contending team would easily take him on as a reliable backup for a cup run.
