Novak’s style is to burn you out. To allow you to hit hard shots, and he returns it not as hard, as if he’s mocking you? This is mentally taxing and frustrating/discouraging also. Novak allows you to beat yourself. It’s his style. To wear you down physically/mentally.
Novak has very stable consistency of ball control. He was not afraid of lengthy rallies because he was so far able to tolerate the hot battle with young guy at his age. When it comes to ball control, it will be closely related to fitness duration & tough mentality. So, how long/far Novak can stay & go forward remains unknown. Let's wait & see.

I like how Fedal Fans were saying that Mahac was going to defeat Djokovic in 3 or 5 sets. Did they not watch what happened at the United Cup? Or it’s because Mahac defeat Alcaraz so they ASSUMED Novak would get beaten as well😂😂😂
