Is there a point to having 4 officials on the ice if they are all willfully blind? I guess that is the new script from the league. The up side is this dirty stuff just gets Edmonton ready to handle teams like Florida.
McDavid, while an extremely talented hockey player, is a real piece of work.. Acting like a spoiled brat. The league should start letting the guy that got the stick in the face to return the favor. This stuff would stop immediately. What a wuss move.
Time to bring back enforcers to take 40 game suspensions or bans from the league.

You're going to be able to look at a dude your opponent and see that he is defenseless and then smash him in the face with the stick and almost the butt end of the stick and the league hasn't announced anything yet? Lol.
By the way players get held and 10 down all the time. It was terrible officiating not to call an interference but that doesn't equate to taking your stick when a guy can't get his stick up and crushing his head with it. Mcavid must be suspended. Otherwise this league loses even more integrity.
It'd be cool if the game couldn't end with pending penalties. Like if Garland gets called for the holding/interference, then the game doesn't end until that powerplay is over.
Some brutal stickwork by everyone in this video. Forgot about that one on 97 last year.
Garland should have had 3 penalties before this. A single minor penalty on Garland whistled 10 seconds before would have saved 2 match penalties

If the refs do their job, Garland wouldn't be in a position to get cross-checked being in the box and all, they don't do their jobs so the player has to.
