  1. It seems like the Bruins are still chasing the success of the 2011 Stanley Cup. They will never be successful if they’re trying to hold onto a culture built over a decade ago and the concept of the big bad bruins.

  2. Not huge swayman fan but he has played better . Tired of watching zadoav stand in front net doing nothing ima win next powerball buy out his contract an ship him back to Russia or what ever robot factory he came from

  3. I agree with that plan, get as low in the standing we can, a top 5 pick could be very welcome, but please not with Sweeny!

  4. Mate, every damn game, 2 up with 5 mins to go and you just know it’s OT
Consistently unable to get hold of AND clear the puck, not just this year but the last few years even when things were going well it’s been a downfall.

  5. I'm cool with retool should started end last season also cool with ya plan but it can't be under SWEENEY SWEENEY HAS TO GO AN SHOULD LEAVE IMMEDIATELY

  6. Can we start a GO SEND ME instead of a GO fund me I'll donate money to buy out zadoav contract send him back to DR FRANKENSTEIN bet we could raise enough to send him back 1st class haha

  7. This long ass comment is for the haters that tell me a paragraph is too intimidating for them to read through and then decide to take the time and comment that my comment is too long for them to read, though this comment is full of relevant information for my fellow Bruins fans.
I've watched 200 plus videos on this channel and there was only one that I haven't agreed on. This dude is always ON POINT. I can't defend Sweeney anymore either. I've defended him since he got the job. Look at the team he built under Monty's first year after firing Cassidy. We had a dream team and he manages to get freaking Bertuzzi, Orlov and Hathaway. We've never seen a team like that. They shattered all time records while still having over a month left of the season. Monty fu*ked us by letting our key players play in the last useless games of the season instead of letting them rest and heal. Bergeron, Krejci, Pasta, McAvoy, Marchand, Ullmark, Lindholm, Hall, DeBrusk, and Zacha all took injuries of different severity over those last games because we played a bunch of desperate teams fighting for a slot, then finished with the Canadiens who were ass bottom and intentionally tried to hurt the team, and did hurt good players. The fact that Monty wasn't fired for the next season after how horrible his coaching was at that point is a shock, and falls on Sweeney's shoulders for keeping Monty for another season. Neely wanted Monty GONE. HE was PISSED that Monty stayed on but Sweeney was being honorable and gave Monty another chance. He failed that second chance, but Sweeney still kept him on for the 3rd season, and waited until he drove this team into the ground before firing his ass.
Oh… and did I mention that Monty had already bought a house in St. Louis before this season. HMMMMMM. Funny how it was right after we played St. Louis twice that he left, and had a job in a few days with St. Louis. Word on the street is that the coaches and managers in the league have said that Monty has been in talks with St. Louis since last summer. Sweeney SHOULD have thrown his ass out last summer. Sweeney and his judgement can't be trusted anymore after that, combined with this host of re+arded contracts.
Remember, just because the player is on the ice, doesn't mean they are at 100%! Hockey is a game of precision. The line between an elite player and an average player is a very fine line. When you have limited movement and pain because of a nagging injury, you are no longer a better player than your opponent. These nagging injuries are the equalizer that takes an elite player, and brings them down to an average player. While Swayman – a proven elite goalie especially at the time, Monty looked on while Ullmark flopped around like a baby seal, and waited until we were in the 11th hour to throw in Swayman, who had not even in net for 3 weeks.
How to fix the Bruins without major trades: Fire entire Coaching staff except for Goalie Bob. Hire Andy Brickley as head coach, let him fill out the other positions. Brick has always known exactly what the problems in the team are, and how to solve them. He knows the NHL better than any other person on the staff, I guarantee it. I've watched games from the 80's where Brickley was on the Bruins, and no matter what city they were playing in, announcers from other teams always said, ''Brickley has the mind of a hockey genius. He's the best hockey mind I've ever seen. It's like he knows the future, he sees plays happen before they start. He gets in positions before anyone else knows where the play is going to end up. Man is this kid impressive. He's not fast or particularly skilled but he has a hockey brain the size of the Soviet Union!'' ……..tell me why this guy is making $110k a year being an analyst on freaking NESN, and not making $2M a year coaching his home team that keeps idiot coaches around for far too long? Would Andy take such an offer? Coach for 2-3 years, pile up 4-6 million, retire like an absolute boss. I bet he would if they walked in with a suitcase of cash and begged him. Or give him Sweeney's job.

  8. Man y’all are wild trade the whole team over 1 bad season lol I mean I get some of it Coyle Freddy have been terrible this year. Only way you even think about trading 63 is if he wants it. Sorry he’s earned his choice to stay and or retire a Bruins.

  9. This season's problem should've happened 2-3 years ago after Chara left, and the Bergeron/Krecji situation finally began. This club instead harnessed voodoo and squandered a true Cup contender. You simply cannot sustain that level of play forever without legit replacements (Elias Lindholm is not a legit replacement. He never was). Every club pays the piper some day. Do it now and get it over with.

  10. Sway was outstanding in this game. There was one goal that I thought he should’ve saved and I thought he was too rash on their first penalty shot, but they’re minor errors which were more than made up for by the sheer amount of top tier saves he had to make throughout the game. The mentality of the team is awful and the decision making and game management is shockingly bad. Why did Coyle decide to try and shoot from the red line rather than skating the puck into their zone and holding it in the corner to kill time? Why did Lindholm try and skate the puck out from behind our net when surrounded by Sens players instead of clearing it? Why are we allowing opponents such easy zone entries with little to no resistance at all?

The fact that Neely thinks buying at the deadline is even a remote option is crazy. We need to retool and we need to start this now. Call up Lysell and Merkulov, keep Lettieri and Potrais up and drop the likes of Lindholm, Freddy, Zacha. I agree with the Marchand point, and for me I wouldn’t be offering him another contract at the end of the year. He’s had his time and we need to move on completely the core.

  11. Trade Brad! Let him try for another cup. He can always retire a Bruin! This team is definitely not a playoff team, even if they make the playoffs. Conversations definitely need to be had with Sweeney maybe even Neely returning. Chris Kelly new head coach

  12. Good goalies win games! I don’t care how many saves a goalie makes it’s the types of goals they let in that defines a good goalie or not

  13. Soon as the saw Zadorov out for last bit of the game I knew Bruins were going to blow a 2-goal lead… if they could get him to give a list of teams to go to… trade him for nothing.. just dump the salary and take a 15th round pick or best offer. Lindholm as well .. they have to agree to a few teams though… but throw them away if there is any chance for it.

  14. I understand, you probably don’t have a Senators jersey. You could have had a mutually empathetic monologue with the Sabres jersey dude at least!
Good assessment. I’d hate to be that middle of the road team though. Either tank and sell off the mid tier guys for some good draft picks and prospects or retool but I don’t know if Sweeney has the ability to get the right pieces considering our cap space and lack of prospects.

  15. They’re tough pills to swallow but I see nothing but truth in this. If you’re going to retool you have to start now, we don’t need a full rebuild and with the right moves I think we can be a legit contender within a few years. I don’t think Sweeney is the one who’s going to make those moves, but he’s held onto his job through worse. Will be very interesting to see how the rest of this season, and the offseason, unfolds. Go B’s.
