Probably gonna get some flack for this… Please notice that Morgan Reilly is a play killer…..also notice that he takes longer to make the right play and half the time he does not make the right play. Is he skilled…yes but Leafs will never win it all if Morgan Reilly is their go to guy as #1 defenceman.

Morgan Rielly does not play against the opposing teams top players. Where are you getting that info from Darius? It's Tanev and McCabe who have that assignment every game, as well as OEL (with either Benoit and Timmins) who play against some of the opposing teams top players at times during the games. They also play on the PK. Rielly and Myers are not usually on the ice when the opposition has their top players out, only when it's during a line change. Rielly can't play on the PK and now he's not on the 1st power play unit. He's been playing mostly sheltered minutes at even strength against the opposing teams bottom six. He's a liability every time he's on the ice with mainly easy assignments that even a 12 year old could do a better job at defensively…it's embarrassing to watch. He's been terrible for quite a while now.
Just imagine making 7.5 million dollars a year playing hockey and being completely useless at it. Incredible.
