It's such a massive relief to have a goalie they can rely on again. Sucks it has to be that way, but it's inevitable there will be a game like this. Not having someone crumble in net is great.

At this point we're gonna need to get a second giant #1 star hat for the Avs locker room, this one is starting to belong to Blackwood on a nightly basis. He's giving us a chance to win games that we would have lost in the past.
I mean, these guys (arguably) have 4 of the top 10 players in the league……on one team (MacK. Blackie, Cale, Mikko). We play down to weak teams, and start slow against good teams. Our 3rd and 4th lines are a bit of a revolving door, and yes, we need ChooChoo back, but I'm at a loss. Seems we need a locker-room leader, and with Gabe in the shadows, guys seem hesitant to step on toes. Makar or Toews should be named "C", at least in the interim. I'm not sure MacK would want it; he's too "full-throttle" all the time…let him be him. Curious how this will play out.
