Ryan Clark CRIES to Save the NFL’s Rooney Rule Crisis

Mike Vrabel has been hired as the new head coach of the New England Patriots, replacing Jerod Mayo, who spent just one year in the role. In response to this quick change, Ryan Clark went on the air to express his concerns that the NFL is not effectively upholding the Rooney Rule, especially with the recent trend of one-and-done head coaches.

  1. The most hysterical part of all this “racism” in the NFL is the league is 80% Black Athletes who are for the most part Millionaires. Many of the assistant coaches are now also African American. Over time there will eventually many more African American Head Coaches. No rules are needed. It will happen organically. It’s just the same victim crap that the racist media continues to sell to push their narrative. Everything the liberals touch turns to shit! Just look at California and NY if you don’t believe me!

  2. If I have a multi million dollar business. I will hire whoever I want. Don’t tell me who to hire when you don’t give me one penny for my business.

  3. What they don’t tell you is all the “opportunities” that white people have been hoarding to themselves all these years are only 1% of the white people out there so if all these minorities are getting screwed. Guess what 99% of the rest of us are getting screwed right along with you so sit down and shut up.

  4. Rooney rule is ridiculous. As is giving draft picks for hiring someone based on color. It's part of the reason i stopped watching football.

  5. In fairness, the Rooney rule looks like meritocracy compared to quotas and affirmative action. At least you can hire a non-black coach.

  6. Let's implement the Sehorn rule that says every football team must have half their DBs be white because they are under represented. Sound stupid? Yeah it would be. So is any Racial requirements.

  7. Ryan Clark is so insufferable. He's mad that teams are abiding by the rule, so it sounds to me like he actually has a problem with the rule but is too much of a coward to come out and say it. If that's his take I agree wholeheartedly, there is no reason to have sham interviews with coaches everybody on Earth knows a team has no intention of hiring, so let's just cut the bullshit and get of the stupid ass rule altogether
